Young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow.
We are leaders today.Who we are
Youth in Action is a national, youth-led organization founded in 2025. We make civic participation more understandable, accessible, and meaningful for the next generation.
We connect learning with real opportunities to lead, volunteer, create, and serve—giving young people practical ways to make a difference.
What we do
Three connected ways to help young people move from curiosity to community impact.
Clear, approachable explainers that make government, public policy, and current events easier for young people to understand.
A national space for young people to build skills, lead initiatives, and turn their ideas into meaningful public service.
Volunteer projects and the developing YIA Impact Fund help youth-led ideas create visible change in communities nationwide.
Our flagship initiative
The YIA Impact Fund is being developed to support youth-led community projects across the United States. Through fair, transparent grants, young people will be able to turn practical ideas into measurable local action.
